Why are mental health disorders important the leather, kink, fetish, and BDSM community? They affect the way we socialize, the way we learn, and the way we play.
We use the word brotherhood to describe our relationships with each other. This word is meaningless unless there is action behind the word. If we are truly brothers, we should take care of one another mentally, physically, and emotionally.
The Best is Yet to Come was conceived to bring awareness to the kink, fetish, leather, and BDSM communities. It can serve as a beacon of hope for those experiencing mental health disorders or for those of us who love our friends and family who might be experiencing mental health disorders.
Find out why people do not follow their treatment regimen or quit treatment all together. The stigma of mental health disorders plays a key role in the way we interact with one another. Do we integrate people with mental health disorders into our communities or do we allow them to lead lives of isolation?
This talk will be informative and interactive. This is a topic we don’t talk about, but it is time to break the silence. I look forward to sharing this knowledge and information with you.

The Presenter
Aaron Duke began his journey in leather in 1998 in Dallas, Texas. Since then, he has been involved with fundraising, community service, and social events benefiting the LGBT community, as well as the leather, kink, fetish, and BDSM community.
As Mr San Diego Leather 2012, Aaron has raised thousands of dollars for local and national charities. He has traveled the United States as an ambassador of the San Diego Leather Community. As a presenter and speaker, he has charmed audiences at the Hillcrest Youth Center, Long Beach Pride Festival, The San Diego Pride Festival, and countless other groups. He facilitates a monthly hands-on demo night for FetishMenSanDiego to encourage learning through doing.
Currently, Aaron is launching The Best Is Yet to Come, a mental health campaign geared toward the kink, leather, fetish and BDSM communities. The Best Is Yet to Come seeks to bring awareness to mental health disorders and end the stigma associated with mental health disorders. He is currently scheduling presentations across the country.
