Come on out and march with DFA and other local fetish/affiliate groups (PSLOD, FetishMenSanDiego, Desire, Bears of Coachella Valley, and The Barracks) in this year’s Palm Springs Pride Parade.
The parade will step off at 10 am on Sunday, November 3 from Baristo and Palm Canyon Drive. Once we receive our contingency number we will have a clearer idea of where we’ll be in the lineup and when we will be stepping off. We should meet around 9/9:30 between Sunny Dunes and Baristo to have enough time to take pictures and mingle. Mark your calendars and let’s show the community our fetish/kink spirit!
Important! The Palm Springs City Ordinance prohibiting public nudity open to view will be strictly enforced. That means no frontal nudity, jockstraps or chaps showing your bare ass are allowed.

Desert Fetish Authority/Leather contingent number for the Palm Springs Pride Parade is: 106
Parade Step Off – 10:00am
Parade Route – Starts at W. Baristo Rd. and travels the Rainbow mile north along Palm Canyon Drive to Tamarisk Rd.
Check-In – (E. Camino Parocela and S. Palm Canyon Dr.) I will be checking our group in at 9:00am. So you will not need to arrive until at or after 9:30am.
Staging Area – Enter the staging area at E. Camino Parocela and S. Palm Canyon Dr. This is the only way to enter the staging area. Note – W. Ramon Rd will be closed from S. Belardo Rd to S. Indian Canyon Dr.
Dismantling Area – N. Palm Canyon Drive between Tamarisk Rd. and E. Tachevah Dr. All parade contingents will dismantle in this area. Floats and vehicles can tear down and become street legal but must be out of traffic lanes when the parade ends and the street reopens to traffic. Please be responsible and take all your trash with you. Help leave the neighborhood and streets clean.
Parking – Parking is limited near the staging area. Please park along the parade route and walk to the staging area.
Daylight Savings Time Ends – Don’t Over Sleep – Please remember, when local daylight time is about to reach 2:00:00 AM on Sunday, November 3, 2013 clocks are turned backward 1 hour to Sunday, November 3, 2013 at 1:00:00 AM local standard time.
The following rules will be in force during the parade:
- The Palm Springs City Ordinance (11.10.040) prohibiting public nudity on public or private property open to view from any public area will be strictly enforced.
- No tossing or throwing of items from parade entries into the crowd, in accordance with Palm Springs City Ordinance.
Reviewing Stands!
Pride Nation (PNN) will be in front of Forever Marilyn at W. Tahquitz Canyon Way.
The Deaf Pride reviewing stand will be at Forever Marilyn and feature American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation.
Mix 100.5 will be near Hamburger Mary’s at 415 N. Palm Canyon Dr.
KDES will be near Trio at 707 N. Palm Canyon in Uptown.
